Our last night in Kyiv was not good. First we were locked out of our apartment, and then Shayla decided to fall off the kitchen stool and bump her head. She had a bad gash in her head, and it was bleeding really bad. I was so scared. I thought that maybe we should have brought her to a hospital. But my mother said to apply pressure to it and see if we could get the bleeding to stop. Within a few minutes the bleeding stopped and she was right back to normal.

Then about one hour later. Sasha and Shayla decided to lock themselves in the bathroom. I paniced again. I was screaming and crying and I could not get the door open. Finally, I remembered when I was looking for salt I had seen a tool drawer. I ran over to it, grabbed a screw driver, and took the whole door knob off the door. They were saved, and we were all very worn out and tired. What a hard day we had, and now we totally destroyed this apartment. (Two doors, Gone)

The following day we arrived in Warsaw, and went straight to the US Embassy for their visa's. Things could have not been better. The Embassy was very friendly, we got a big suite in the hotel, and we had American food. We were in heaven. The only problem now was, our return tickets had expired and we could not get a flight.

Three days later we made it home to America.
